My God man...you need to start sticking some of that money into an IRA or annuity, haha. I have invested into some stock last month. I finally have the extra funds to invest good chuncks every month and pay off my credit cards at the same time. I did sell my truck to so that free me up a few thousand dollars. But i do need to take a break for awhile now. I also invested in Iraq money 1 million worth if they ever decided to establish a govenment the $800 i used to buy it will turn into 1 million.. www.safedinar.com check it out. Might happen tomorrow or it might not ever happen.

Nah, I have an IRA. But I still do spend my fair amount of money on pleasures.
BTW, Woldoch, I think I paid for your dads electrical bill. I dropped a few dolla's in the golf shop today. ;D

That iraq deal sounds skiddish. You SHOULD be setting up a mutual fund, or an annuity, if you want more information on this I can get you some stuff. These products are VERY good long term investments and your chance of LOSING are very little, unlike the stock market. When you are young and dont have a ton of money to throw away you need to play it safe and set up something that is secure and will secure your future.

When you are young and dont have a ton of money to throw away you need to play it safe and set up something that is secure and will secure your future. That sounds ass backwards to me. When you're young and don't have a ton of money, that's when you want to be in the high risk, high profit investments. You have plenty of time to make up the money if you lose, and if you win, you're that much further ahead.

Not if you want to secure your future. It depends on how conservative you are with your money. I setup a variable annuity that has a potential for loss but a very high potential for gains (up to 15% range). I have put about 1500 into it since last October and right now it is sitting at 1628.32 (I just checked).
I also have a mutual fund which I have setup more conservatively, to date it has grown at 6%.
It all comes down to the person, me, I dont want to lose a ton of money like my uncle (lost 20K last year in the stock market).

Yeah, that's a good point about the personality thing. Some people do prefer to be more conservative with their money. And that Iraq thing sounds like a nice internet scam to me.
